Le Secret de Valeyres (Assemblage Rouge) 2024 | 50cl

Crafted from the vines of the Domaine du Manoir, this blend of Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Garanoir stands out for its balance and smooth mouthfeel. It expresses itself through notes of crisp red fruit.

Its name alludes to a riddle that remains unsolved to this day. In the early 19th century, the village of Valeyres-sous-Rances was spelled with two "L"s: "Valleyres." Then, for reasons unknown, one of the "L"s vanished. But who decided on this change? And why? To date, there is no definitive explanation to fully solve this mystery.

Best enjoyed between 14°C and 16°C, it pairs perfectly with meat dishes or homemade lasagna.
