NEW VINTAGE
Cuvée 1403 - Pinot Noir 2024
Domaine du Manoir - AOC Vaud
Harvested in Valeyres-sous-Rances from the vineyards of Domaine du Manoir, Cuvée 1403 is the estate’s first Pinot Noir aged in tanks. Made exclusively from this iconic grape variety, the 2024 vintage captivates with its balance and the finesse of its tannins. It reveals a generous expression of black fruit, supported by an elegant structure and a lovely freshness on the palate. Accessible and harmonious, it is enjoyable both in its youth and during more gourmet dining occasions.
Its name echoes a significant date in the history of the Manoir, following in the footsteps of the Cuvée 996 from Château de Malessert. In 1403, the lands of Valeyres-sous-Rances and its abbey became a structured fiefdom under the influence of the Dukes of Savoy, particularly during the reign of Amadeus VIII. This date symbolizes the estate’s deep-rooted connection to regional history, bridging medieval heritage and a legacy of winemaking.
Made exclusively from the Domaine du Manoir’s vineyards, this Pinot Noir fully expresses the richness of its Vaud terroir. Vinified and aged in tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit and the finesse of the grape variety, it reveals a supple, structured, and delicately fruity palate, supported by fine, elegant tannins.
Best served between 14 and 16°C, it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, white meats, and hearty dishes, while also making an excellent gourmet aperitif.
